Literacy Summer School Guidelines & Dates

District Reading Specialist News

By Julie Neal

Now that Spring is here, we will be looking at data to see which students will need continued support in the area of reading this summer.

Our District Literacy Policy:
Board Policy 603.12 calls for students to be regularly assessed for proficiency in reading. Students that are not proficient in reading will be provided assistance at school to help them become proficient. Support will also be provided to parents/guardians to help the student outside of school.
