Students in grades 2-6 at Greene County Elementary and Greene County Middle Schools are jumping at the chance to fight heart disease and stroke, our nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers, respectively. From January 28 - February 11, students will be participating in the Kids Heart Challenge, (formerly Jump Rope/Hoops For Heart). Students will raise funds for the American Heart Association, which funds cardiovascular disease research and public and professional education programs, while learning about building a heart healthy lifestyle. Money raised by the event will go to fund potentially lifesaving research and educational and community programs. Please help our students help others. When a student asks you to be a sponsor, support Kids Heart Challenge with whatever you can afford to give. Thank you!
