Bike to school day was a huge success this morning! Students, parents, community members, and Greene County staff gathered in the HyVee parking lot this morning at 7:30 and biked together through the town of Jefferson, eventually landing at Greene County Elementary school. The Jefferson Police department was kind enough to provide a police escort, and many volunteers stood on street corners to help navigate the riders along the way. What a wonderful and safe experience this was for our elementary students. Thank you to all involved who helped make the event a success!
