Beef Kabobs at the Career Academy

Juniors Sophie Kirk from Greene County High School and Afton Poldberg from Panorama High School prepared beef kabobs today. They marinated the meat with soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, lemon juice and hot sauce for the last two days, so the flavor was great! This morning, they cut the vegetables and used the leftover marinade to coat the vegetables, and then put the skewers together. They grilled them in their culinary kitchen so the vegetables were charred and the meat was medium rare. They were enjoyed by Chef D and her students.
