Java and Jazz returns to Greene County High School on Saturday, Nov. 12.
This year’s event will feature the Greene County High School jazz band and the Iowa State University Jazz Ensemble with coffee donated by Greene Bean Coffee.
The ISU ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Mike Giles, includes Greene County graduate Clay Peters.
Java and Jazz will begin at 6:30 pm with coffee and a jazz combo in the high school commons. The event will move to the auditorium at 7 pm for the Greene County jazz band, followed by the ISU Jazz Ensemble.
Admission is a free will offering, with proceeds going to the high school jazz program.
