Thirteen energetic fourth through eighth graders joined us for the construction career exploration camp on Monday. We toured the career academy woodworking shop and got to hear from six high school woodworking students. Each student used their creativity to paint their own birdhouse to take home with them.
December is computer science month for our career exploration camps. Students in grades 1-3 will have camp on December 5th and students in grades 4-8 will be December 19th. Classes are from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and transportation is provided to the career academy. The cost is $10 and that includes an after-school snack.
