HS football change on 9/22/23: The JV2 game has been canceled. The varsity game vs. Kuemper will begin at 7pm.
Changes to HS football on 9/8/23: The JV2 game has been canceled. The varsity game vs. Atlantic will be moved to a 7:00 p.m. start time.
The Southeast Valley cross-country meet rescheduled for today 9/5 has been cancelled due to the forecasted heat.
Greene County High School football players assisted with the elementary student drop off this morning. What an awesome and fun surprise for our little Rams this morning!

Heroes Night!
Reminder: Today is an early out for elem (1:20) and MS (1:25). HS will dismiss at regular time (3:40). Keep this in mind if your child rides a bus; Elem and MS students will arrive after school at their bus stop 2 hours earlier than a non early release day.

A big congratulations to Gavin Vander Linden for receiving the National Rural and Small Town Award from the College Board National Recognition Program. This honor recognizes academic excellence and hard work in high school. Gavin scored in the top 10% of students taking the PSAT across the state. Way to go, Gavin!
The JV2 Football game at Carroll on Friday has been canceled. The start time for the varsity game will remain the same - 7:00 kickoff.

We are excited to have students back at GCHS tomorrow! There is construction at the corner of Hwy 30 and Grimmell Rd. so we recommend entering the student parking lot from S. Grimmell Rd. If you haven't digitally signed the student/parent handbook please log onto Infinite Campus to take care of that.

Greene County Community School will be holding the monthly board meeting at the admin building (101 Ram Drive, Jefferson, IA) this evening beginning at 5:15 PM. The public is welcome to attend. The event will also be livestreamed on YouTube (link below).
