Greene County Community School District will be livestreaming the 8th grade graduation ceremony today. The ceremony will be held in the high school auditorium and is scheduled to begin at 2:00. The livestream will be broadcast on the school's GCCSD YouTube page (link below) and also on channels 22/422 for Jefferson Telecom customers.

Today is 8th grade graduation. The ceremony takes place at the high school at 2:00. The doors will open at 1:30. Guests may park on the north and south side. Please do not park in the bus turn around. When you enter the school, go to the auditorium.
Greene County Community School will be holding the monthly board meeting at the admin building (101 Ram Drive, Jefferson, IA) this evening beginning at 5:15 PM. The public is welcome to attend. The event will also be livestreamed on YouTube (link below) and on channel 22/422 for Jefferson Telecom customers.

Summer school is open to anyone who needs additional reading and math help. The times for summer school run from 8:30-11:30 at the Elementary School for grades K-8th grade.
The dates are as follows:
June 13th-17th
June 20th-24th
June 27th-July 1st.
Transportation will be provided only for Scranton, Rippey, and Grand Junction.
Please let the office or your child's teacher know if they plan on attending by May 20th.

Activities Scheduling changes:
MS boys/girls track @Carroll postponed - it will be tomorrow (Tuesday 5/3).
Boys soccer @PCM today - Varsity plays first at 5:30, followed by JV at 7:00.
MS Track info: MS Track at Perry will be running events only today (4/22). NO field events at this meet.
Greene County Schools will have a 2 hour delay today (Apr 21st) due to fog. There will be no morning preschool and no breakfast.

Middle school track and field for 4/8/22 has been canceled.
The Middle School library will host a Spring Book Fair on April 11-15. The book fair will be open before school, during the school day, and Tuesday and Thursday 4 pm-7 pm.
Due to icy roads, the Greene County Schools will have a two hour late start on Thursday, March 31st. No morning Preschool, no morning activities, no breakfast.
MS Parents: ISASP tests will be held on Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri (Apr 5-8). Please send your child to school with a fully charged chromebook and earphones (or earbuds) if they have them.
