Bike/Walk to school day is a national event on May 4th. Mr. Thompson will be organizing an event to start at the HyVee Parking lot, and will finish at the Elementary school. Students and staff members will leave the lot at 7:40 am, and will walk or bike to the elementary school in time for the start of the school day. Please try to arrive at HyVee Parking lot by 7:30. At the end of the day, students will be responsible for riding their bikes home or following their regular after school plans. Students will not be accompanied back to the HyVee parking lot at the end of the day. Parents/families are encouraged to join us for our walk/bike ride that morning! Greene County Schools will have a 2 hour delay today (Apr 21st) due to fog. There will be no morning preschool and no breakfast.

Greene County Community School will be holding the monthly board meeting at the admin building (101 Ram Drive, Jefferson, IA) this evening beginning at 5:00 PM. The public is welcome to attend. Don't Forget! The Greene County High School grand march for the 2022 junior-senior prom is tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The event is free and open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. The doors to the high school will open at 5:30 p.m. Please use the south lot for parking.
