Dear Greene County Families,
I want to address concerns regarding recent rumors about a potential threat to our middle school’s safety. Please rest assured that the matter has been thoroughly investigated. After working closely with local law enforcement, we have confirmed that no such threat was ever made, and there is no credible danger to our school community. School administrators have made attempts to stop these rumors as they have been hearsay and are not credible.
The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. To ensure peace of mind as students return to school, law enforcement officers will be present on campus to provide an additional layer of security and support.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. If you have any questions or concerns regarding school safety, please contact your school’s administration.
We are looking forward to students returning to the classroom tomorrow.
Regards,
Brett Abbotts, Superintendent
Greene County CSD
