Greene County Community School District is excited to announce the addition of 8 new emergency strobe lights across the district, strategically placed in areas where audible alerts may not always be heard, such as gyms, cafeterias, shops, and band and choir rooms. These lights serve as a visual alert system, ensuring everyone—students, staff, and visitors—can quickly respond in case of an emergency.
This important safety upgrade was made possible thanks to the generosity of the Greene County Community Foundation. We are deeply grateful for their continued support in helping us provide a safer and more inclusive environment for all.
Together, we’re making our schools safer for every member of our community. Thank you for helping us put our students and staff first!
