Another fabulous appearance for our February Fab Friday and WOW… this week’s theme — Sweet Treats — was absolutely knocked out of the park!
Our amazing families and supporters truly showed up and showed out. Because of you, our staff not only feels loved, supported, and appreciated… but their bellies are a little fuller with candy, too! 🍫🍭🍪
The smiles in the office said it all. Thank you for continuing to pour into the people who pour into our students every single day. We are so grateful for this incredible community! ❤️

Parents and families, don’t miss “From the Playground to the Screen,” a powerful presentation focused on conflict, bullying, and cyberbullying.
When: Tonight, January 29
Where: GCHS Auditorium (1901 N. Grinnell Rd)
Time: Doors open at 5:00 PM, Presentation: 5:30-6:30 PM
Earlier this afternoon, presenter Robert Hackenson Jr. worked with our 2nd-4th grade students, talking about healthy ways to handle emotions, stress, and conflict. He even mixed in a little magic and humor, which made the message fun, memorable, and highly engaging. The presentation was very well received by our elementary students.
Tonight’s session is designed for parents and families and will cover:
- How to coach kids through conflict, Conversation vs. debate
- What bullying and cyberbullying are (and aren’t)
- Warning signs to watch for
- What to do if your child is being bullied or bullying others
- Practical resources and next steps
If you liked what your child talked about after school today, you’ll definitely want to be here tonight.
All parents are encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there!

Due to the extremely cold temperatures expected, Greene County Schools will be closed for Friday, January 23rd.
Please be safe and have a great weekend!
