Sports 4/21/23: HS Girls and Boys soccer vs Panorama at Grand Junction has been cancelled. Girls golf at Southeast Valley has been cancelled. MS Girls and Boys Track at Perry has been cancelled.

The Greene County HS SMITE plays today against last year's state champions, Roland Story. Greene County Community School will be holding the monthly board meeting at the admin building (101 Ram Drive, Jefferson, IA) this evening beginning at 5:15 PM. The public is welcome to attend. The event will also be livestreamed on YouTube (link below) and on channel 22/422 for Jefferson Telecom customers. Greene County High School's grand march for the 2023 junior-senior prom will be Saturday, April 15 at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The prom theme this year is A Trip to the Tropics. This event is free and open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. The doors to the high school will open at 5:30 p.m. Students participating in the grand march are encouraged to park in the north lot and all others in the south lot. If you are unable to attend, the event will be live streamed on the GCCSD YouTube page (link below) and also on channel 22 and 422 for Jefferson Telecom TV service subscribers.
